paxil cr

by kim1066, Oct 15, 2007 09:15PM
I've been on Paxil for 3 weeks for anxiety (started out with reg. 10 mg and switched to CR 12.5 mg 4 days ago).  I've been experiencing some chest pain (sometimes on the  left, sometimes on the right).  I 've talked to several doctors and all seems to think the pain is either muscular or muscle spasm.   I also had four EKGs done at different times.   All were normal.  Will the chest pain go away with time?  Or is it something more serious?
I am also taking Ambien to help with insomnia.   I am not sure if it is the Ambien or the Paxil or both that make me really tired in the daytime, especially early AM.   There were some good days, but some were not.  However, since the dosage ws upped, I seem to get more tired.  Is it my body adjusting to the increased dosage?
