If you are too sick, please go to the emergency room. You need to be careful of dehydration. So if you can't keep any fluids down at all you need to go. Otherwise wait for your doctor appointment.

I know it's hard when these darned doctors don't get back to us. I have been waiting for over a week for one doctor to get back to me. I'm sorry you're having this problem. I had the same problem but different meds last month. Turned out one of my meds was affecting me badly and I needed to get off of it.

Please take care of yourself. Hugs

Hello and welcome to MedHelp and our forum!

You've got quite the extensive resume of medications!  For starters, a few questions.  You said you've been on these meds for three years...all of them?  Do you get these meds all from the same doctor, like a PCP?  I understand the Synthroid and Premarin, but what do you take the other meds for?  You mentioned wanting to get your medical records from the "quack" who Rx'd you these meds...are you no longer under his/her care, and if so, why?  What type of doctor is he/she?

People have the right to their medical record in it's entirety, however, each doctor/clinic handles the acquisition of those records a bit differently.  Some require a sit down meeting with a staff member to review the records (to clear up things that perhaps are confusing to a non-medical person), most will charge a fee and most require advanced notice (that varies, can be days or weeks...depending on how extensive your records are as well).  You can also request the transfer of your records to your new doctor directly, but again, you will most likely need advanced notice for that to happen.

Are you out of any of your meds?  If so (especially the Opana or Xanax)...that could easily explain how you're feeling as you would be experiencing withdrawals. Opana is about the strongest opiate pain med available and it cannot be stopped abruptly without some pretty nasty w/d.  What do you take that for and what is your dose?  Also, the Xanax should not be stopped suddenly either, as w/d's will result and depending on your dose, seizures could result.

If you have run out of any of these meds, you need to seek some help right away, go to the ER if necessary.  If you're just looking to reevaluate your need for these meds and explore other options (which I think is a GOOD idea, your regimen is rough and could be adding to your problems)...then contact the Rx'ing doctor, request the transfer of your records to your new doctor immediately.  They will most likely not be able to get them there on such short notice with your appt being tomorrow, but any which way, still keep the appt with your new doctor.

Best of luck, hope it works out.  Let us know what you find out!
