please help me... please!!!

I am 32 years old and pregnant with mine and my husbands first child. I have suffered from severe anxiety attacks, OCD, bipolar, but mostly its the anxiety that gets me. I have been on prozac - had basically what they called prozac burnout... I was also on ativan 1mg twice a day. The prozac wasnt working anymore so I then went of fluvoxomine (Luvox) 50mg twice a day. Recently it went up to 3 times a day. The combination of the two drugs Luvox and ativan (which was bumped up to 3 times a day at 1mg each) Works great for me. I found out I was pregnant last Monday and have been doing some reading on teh drugs I am on. I have stopped my luvox, but I cannot stop  my ativan.. I tried and started shaking uncontrolably and my legs started to draw up. I have read conflicting reports on what benzos can do to the fetus. I am horrified that I am doing something wrong. I am just taking 1mg a day now, stopped smoking, and stopped the luvox. I am so scared of the cleft pallate, or deformaties. I also suffer from PCOS. Anyone... please help.... I dont know what to do... and I dont think that the little po dunk doctors here in the small town that I live in will understand that this is something that I NEED... let me know what you think

HI, Ok.  I don't know about the drug effects on the fetus but keep researching it.  Is there anyway to contact a good OB/GYN where your family lives (or friends)?  Sounds like you are doing all the right things and you got yourself down to one medication.  You can do it.  When i was pregnant with my first all my anxiety went away because of the hormones.....you become very relaxed and very tired.  So, lets hope this helps you too. I am sorry but i don't know what PCOS is. You need to go to the OB/Gyn in your town as soon as you can and discuss everything with them.  Good luck to you!!!
