I totally agree with Silverberg. You should consider speaking with a therapist (or a counselor at your school) as to why you are having such a difficult time accepting your negative result. You didn't need an HIV test to begin with, and after 3 negative results, you can be confident that you do not have HIV.
Best of luck...
first off , the future DOES NOT DEPEND on our response! WE CAN only give suggestions and tell you what has worked for us. IT IS UP TO YOU TO WORK ON THE ISSUE! but you will have alot of support here.
I first need to say, this HIV status in your mind has been going on for awhile, you need to accept your neg. and move on! ask yourself why you keep thinking you could be positive? from your post I don't even know why you took a HIV test PERIOD!!!
you said you used a condom , so when you take a HIV test, you TELL YOUR MIND SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!! many people do this if they have chest pain or headache etc... If you have already been deemed healthy, DO NOT PLAY DOCTOR!!
are you seeing a Dr. of Psychiatry? this is not a HIV Anxiety issue, this is a anxiety of NOT letting go of (fill in the blank) _______________.
I am going to add this because, if you have taken all the test, nothing we say is going to convince you, SO lets say you are positive? SO WHAT? it is a controllable illness now.
My point is this is not life or death. time to move on, let it go and as I stated b4, this is not about HIV Anxiety, this is about not letting go!! keep posting! like I said alot of support here!!
