plz sum1 help. 5weeks on antidepreshens and im goin weird HELP PLZZ

hi can sum1 help this is really gettin me down i have been on 10mg of citalpram for the past 5weeks now for anxity and depresson. ive had my ups and downs but this past week i have gone really weird i feel really detatched from my body it is so scaryand nothin feels really  i duno whats happen to me i went to the dock and he just said carry it on see what happens in a week but i cant wait that long i keep worrin about it and than it gets worse cause im pannikin. can anybody help me i been thinkin does it sound like its workin would it make me feel like this for a bit? do i have to keep it up and fight this feelin  do u think i need a stronger dose?? our lower?  i really duno what to do im so so scared this is nasty plz sum1 help.

thanks  for that people  i got up 2day and went up town  with my mum dad and girlfreind and  i felt really bad  before i went in i said to them i have to go back to the car. but i dident i went and walked round and i did it  and i did it with out feelin really really bad  im still havein this spaced out feelin tho its still nasty but maby  it will pass i hope so. and yeah ppl told me 6weeks they can take so were see.

Im no doctor or anything, but if I felt like that, I would maybe get a second opinion because there is no need to feel uncomfortable in your own skin, you don't have to stop taking your medication, maybe take only half of it. If you still feel like how you do after a couple days go to the doctor and tell him/her you really cant feel like that anymore. It isn't fair for you to feel that way with medications that are suppose to help you from panicking, hope things work out.

Hi there,
The first thing you have to do is try and calm yourself down, I know just how you feel when your scared it makes all the other nasty syptoms come beleave me I get scared of my feelings and it makes me worse, give your meds another week and if you feel the same go back to your doctor and tell him. but meds take about 6weeks to kick in, please dont be scared you will get there.
