prestiq used for sleeplessness during menopause

If anyone out there has used Prestiq sucessfully to remedy menopausal sleeplessness--please let me know... I have been thrown into menopause over night you might say, tests show extremes in hormone levels in a short amount of time. My doctor has given this Prestiq to try but, said not to expect results for at least 4 weeks. The laundry list of side effects are a discouragement to me. Thus, I haven't started this medication yet. I can put up with hot flashes, but I can't seem to get ANY sleep!!! If someone out there has been a successful recipient of this drug for the use of sleeplessness during menopause, please comment.
