quitting Klonopin...

Just eight weeks ago I was @ 1.75 mg's/day and now down to .5mg/day so I'm feeling pretty good about my progress, how-ever I am concerned if I can actually pull-off a full detox from that drug.

Been on it soo long that I know that the final CT from it won't be easy and I have no idea what to expect or if I even will want to stay clean from it. Sure would be a lot of work/hassle to finally decide to stay on it after this taper...but I'm going to give it a try anyway. Been on it for over 10 years, but at a lesser dosage.

Anyone out there with any detox experience from Klonopin? Any input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am no expert on this. But Klonopin is meant to be one of the easier tablets to come off of. That is not to say there would be no withdrawls. Just they wouldn't be as bad as the likes of Xanax and other tablets. But anxiety can be created with the thought of a tablet free life. That might be acting up on the mind. After so many years of been on tablets. It is only obvious that anybody would wonder what they would be like without medication. But you are doing good. Well done on the progress.
