Ok I have had a sore throat and ear infection.  I am still on antibiotics and a steroid for the ear infection.  And I have been extremly anxious that I have some terrible disease.  Could this be why I have lost 5 pounds in a week?  I have not changed diet nor ate less nor excercised.  But the Weight loss is now contributing to the anxiety that I have something wrong with me.

Antibiotics and steroids can cause digestive problems.  As soon as your course of antibiotics and steroids is complete, buy a good refrigerated probiotic at a good health food store to replenish the bacteria the steroids and antibiotics have destroyed.  That should also help your digestion.  If you get another ear infection quickly, or have had repeated ones, that's because of the steroids and antibiotics, so you might want to try a different approach to break the cycle.  If it's just an isolated case, then don't worry about it.
