Hello, Yep i think this is an anxiety symptom. I suffer with terrible anxiety and panic attacks and ive had a low humm sound in my ears for days.

Hi;

   An excited brain may be producing this tinnitus. If it continues, a trip to an ENT Dr. seems reasonable.
   Plugging you ears or lying on your side blocks some of the natural sound you hear. By blocking the external sound, the internal sound seems louder.
   If it's bothersome for sleep, sometimes running a 'white noise' as a fan will help.

I have this problem now! I had ear ringning when I was on wellbutrin...not a happy thing to happen when you have GAD!! So, it turns out only 6% of people on the 300 dose get it, I cut back and it went away. Now, its happening and I think its due to the allegeries I am having, I have been on Allegra D for quite awhile, but it got so bad with the ragweed, I needed veramyst to sleep, I was THAT congested! Then I ran out and sure enough, and yesterday my left ear started ringing and my teeth started aching...did some poking around and sure enough, people on antihistamines and allergy meds are very suspetible to it. And by stopping, I made it worse...I refilled the meds and am hoping by tomorrow its better...then will figure out how to stop taking the meds. The ENT said to take the spray all the way through fall...also...being anxienty prone does NOT help!! YIKESS
