side effects of drinking with effexor?

New here. I started taking Effexor ER a couple of months ago, after a really bad bout of depression and anxiety. It is helping with the depression as I can get off my butt and get more done now. I haven't had a drink in months, I just don't drink. Which is a good thing, I suppose. I did when I was younger in social situations as it made me feel like I could fit in. Anyway, I'd like to have an ocassional drink, but the bottle directions for Effexor say not to mix with alcohol. What are the side effects, like if I wanted just a glass or two of wine? Not to be a ninny, but I don't want to have any complications. Usually I'd just ignore the warning, but the warnings seem particularly strong. Also, is it common to have no interest in the opposite sex, while taking this? I really like being back among the living, but my husband is not so happy about this part.
