i HATE this state. i moved to arizona from massachusetts. the DOCTORS suck. :( we dont even have a doctor. and i went to some guy ONE time and i called and asked him if he could order me blood work and he did & then i went to the lab today and i asked the lady if i could have a urine test and chylstol check and they called THE STUPID doctor and he said no. im so mad. i feel so nerovus here cause we dont have a doctor basically and our insurnce SUCKS. i just want to go homE:( where my doctor was amazing and i got all the tests i wanted.

I'm from NY....nothing like the doctors that are in the northeast! LOL...seriously, try to find a doctor that you like!  BTW...can you go to the ER on your own?  Your parents coverage will still cover you even though they aren't with you, or is that just openning ANOTHER  can of worms???

honstely, if i had every test i wouldnt worry. i know it sounds crazy but its true.
i got a appt tommrrrow with a doctor so im happy but this other doctor told my mom to bring me to the ER. im scared now : ( i still have neck pain its gotten better tho. but im still scared im having an anyersum : (

hollie - you gave me advice yesterday that I needed to relax and talk a walk or get out and do something but you are not taking your own advice!  you are dwelling on something that is not there and I know you are getting frustrated w/ your parents but my dad was the same way when I was younger and he was always right about it.  you say yourself that you are a hypochondriac so there is nothing wrong!  if you had a serious problem, you'd be dead already!  you also say many times that you are not freaking out or it's not anxiety.  you type in all caps when you say that which means you are yelling and if that's the case, you ARE freaking out!  also, you would not be in an anxiety forum!  take a deeeeeppp breath and try to relax - you are making it worse on yourself.  YOU ARE FINE!

hello! i was reading one of your posts and u have pain in your neck and other areas ? i had somethign liek also  really bad pains in my neck and it was really stiff and the light hurt my eyes and taking a shower didn't help because it felt like something was hurting  my  head i went hte the emergency room becuase it got worse they said i was dehydrated and was hving a really bad migraine so i got put on an iv and they did a blood test the thought it was menegitis but they just got some fluids in me and gave me something to help me sleep. and i didn't work for i think two days and i was fine...dont' know if that helps.

Do you know anybody in the area?  Prehaps you could ask them what doctors they recommend (even ask a neighbour).  Did your doctor say why he wouldnt administor the tests?  If you have headaches, a urine test will not shed any light on that.  The doctor, however, should not refuse you tests that you want so I would definitely find another doctor.  Look online to find out what doctors are covered by your insurance - sometimes you can get a history and picture of the person and get an idea of whether they might be someone you would feel confortable with.
