Hello I've been taking xanax for four days once a day a night with the lowest dosage (.25) and I want to stop taking it. Will I experience withdrawal symptoms if I stop it even though I'm only taking it for a couple of days?
Very smart to want to discontinue. That's a low dose and I think you will be fine to just stop tonight. Taking xanax on a continual basis is not the way the drug was designed to work. I think that you would be alright to stop taking it. I take xanax .25 on a as needed basis. When I was going through a rough time though, I took one at night for a week, then stopped. I had no problems. .25 the lowest dosage. It's not good to take as a sleeping aidAids Aids - resources Early symptomatic hiv infection. It can become addictive, if used incorrectly.
