talk to me please

can soeone please help me i have been haveing panic attack for 10 years now. like lots of you i had panic attacks that i was going to die.but then one day i said ok panic if your going to kill me then ok.that was when they stoped.but now they have come back with a new turn to them now i have panic attack that im going to go mad or lose it and kill myself.please understand i don't want to do this but i can't get it out of my head when im haveing a panic attack.do any of you get worrying toughts when your have them thanx for your time xx

I think that we all get worrying thoughts, but more of us get the feelings that their is something "wrong".  I have never thought that i was going to lose it and kill myself however.  Do you see a therapist regarding these feelings?  I understand that you won't do it, but the fear of doing it can drive you crazy.  Maybe there is someone who can help you deal with these feelings.  Best to you.

I too used to have these feelings but not for quite sometime.  If you don't have or can't afford a therapist at least go to an MD and perhaps get some medication for this of anxiety.  It is hard to function and be rational with those thoughts going on.  Take care of yourself

As you can see, whenever you call panic's "bluff," it changes to something else. You didn't die (you called its bluff) so now the idea is you are going to go crazy. I doubt it; after all, you've done a very rational thing and talked to this forum about it. After this happens enough times, you will begin to realize that no matter what panic serves up -you can go one better. You're doing fine.

It's a very common feeling to think that you are "going to hurt yourself" or someone around you.. This is a very popular feeling.  The thing is, just like JSGeare said...you didnt die, and you didn't kill yourself, meaning that these are just obsessive thoughts that are running through your head.  They will pass and you won't do it, becaue you dont want to.  Your hand cannot just take control and kill you right?? Your mind is in control, and you ARE IN CONTROL!!!!  Remember that, whenever you feel like this..
Put one hand on your chest and the other on your stomach, lay down and try to control your breathing to come from your abdomen (which is right above your belly button)  make sure that your tummy is lifting up and down and not your chest, it might feel weird but its a natual way of breathing...
breathe in, Count One thousand One, One thousand two, and then Breathe out... To a one thousand four....Do this for about a minute, this slows down your breathing purposly, and it will automatically calm you down.  
As you're doing this, just think calm thoughts... I AM CALM, I AM OK< THIS IS OK, I AM RELAXED..
