tetracycline
has anyone took this med for infections and gotton anxiety tetracycline(doxycycline) hate takingnew meds because some cause anxiety. your in put if you have taken before would be great thanks .
been on nitrofurantion cefelexin and doxycycline also cipor for an on going IUT had it 3yrs nothing wrong had cystacopy 4times but keeps coming back my anxiety is thru the roof dont know how to cope its so bad strange awfull thoughts no appetite fears etc i think it def the tablets anyone any info to help me please this is always how it is when on antibiotics and seems to take for ever to get out of my system and then infection comes back and im on them again
hi there, i took doxycyclin and i had the most terrifying experience. i had panic attacks all day and i couldnt stop shaking. i still have the odd bad morning now and ive been off the antibiotics for 2 months.
Take a look at post 11/21/07 Anxiety/Antibiotics! There are quite a group of antibiotics that can cause anxiety and even cause you to hyperventilate. I always dread taking new stuff.
