I am not a doctor, aurin, and therefore cannot advise you to put ANYTHING in your eyes, even an OTC preperation. If you have a new symptom, then you should consult with the ENT who is treating you for your sinus infection.
The most I can tell you to do is rinse your eyes with very clean, warm water. That may help until you see your real doctor.

The E in ENT stands for eyes.  So yes, you should consult him.  But remember, doctors oppose all natural remedies.  I have no idea what systear is, but if it's natural and not pharmaceutical, there are very few doctors who will be of much help to you.  You have to search them out.  And if the medication you're on is an antibiotic, you should, as soon as you quit taking them, start on a good refrigerated probiotic from a good health food store (which means not GNC).  The antibiotic has killed off your beneficial bacteria, and will make it much more likely you'll get another sinus infection or a series of them, which can lead to problems down the road.  Good luck.  I have heard that Twin Labs cod liver oil skin formula is good for dry eye, based on second-hand knowledge, not personal experience.  Might ask about that, too.

Sorry,  been informed from a note sent to me that I had complete brainlock here.  The E obviously stands for ears, not eyes.  Duh!  Again, sorry, my bad.
