I am not familiar with your other medications, but I was taking Klonopin for 8 months 0.5 mg off and on, with my diabetes med Glyburide. I gained 40 lbs, after I stopped taking Klonopin I returned to my normal weight and lost 35-40 lbs, without any exercise or diet, within a month.
Does anyone out there think klonopin causes weight gain?
About 3-4 weeks ago I spent ONLY one week on lithium and gained 4 pounds. Then I was switched to klonopin which I did not think had any affect on weight--in fact I am able to work out again because of the med, but I have not been able to shake the lithium pounds, in fact I just see my weight ticking up!
As a person who lost 85 pounds I hate to think my NEW reality is to be heavier because of the meds.
Not on those drugs. I gained my wieght from paxil. I am now off all antidepressants and am just sticking to my ativan. I also gained weight from quitting smoking, which is normal, but I too cannot seem to lose any of the weight I put on, Im dieting and exercising also. Ummmm

Has anyone else had this experience?
