what to do

Just put on clonazepam 0.5 2x. Calmed me down considerable, but have read horror stories of withdrawal. I need something for the time being, please can anybody recommend something easier to withdraw from?

I think your maybe worrying too much about the clonazepam. As far as the Benzo class of anti-anxiety drugs it is the least addictive.

Your dosages are VERY low. Given that your dosages are so low, I seriously doubt that you will become addicted to clonazepam. As long as you don't get addicted to the drug and for you to get addicted to it will take much higher dosages taken for long periods.

No addiction = No withdrawl (withdrawal).

How to keep out of the Benzo addiction hot spot: (1.) keep your dosage low (2.) do not raise the dosage (if you do this it turns into a run away cycle of always needed more and more) (3.) give yourself a break from taking the clonazepam every few months.

You do that and you will not get addicted.

I happen to be a Benzo addict and I did not follow any of the above guidelines and that is why I beacam addicted. Not to mention that I am on a more powerful benzo than clonazepam.

It's a safe and effective drug IF you follow the rules.

Withdrawal has nothing to do with addiction.  There are also bad withdrawals from non-addictive medications.  Whether you have one or not no one can say, since everyone responds differently.  The question is, do you need the medication?  If you've tried therapy and gentler natural remedies and they didn't work, then you need medication.  If your life is so affected by your anxiety that you can't function, then you need medication.  Otherwise, you don't.  If you need medication, they can all be hard to withdraw from, whether it's a benzo or an antidepressant.  Or not.  None of us can predict your future, only tell you our past.

.50 of Clonazepam "Klonopin" is addictive!

I was only on .50 ONCE a day total, and I had to taper off.
"Im sensative to drugs"

I agree with Paxiled, if you need it you need it. And ALL of the physc drugs have withdraws.
Just make sure when your ready to get off of it, taper slowly
After my original last dose from tapering and then nothing, my main withdraws only lasted about 2 weeks....Morning times were h3ll, and then it gradually weaned down during the day, and nights fealt alright.
