I was just wondering when its time for me to stop taking paxilPaxil Paxil cr do most people feel ok after or do some people just go back to the way they were?
That is truly the question where I believe there is not one correctCorrect (new formula) answer. It depends upon who you ask...were you diagnosed with a majorMajor tears Major-gesic depressive episode? Were/are you in therapy? Was your depression a result of a specific event that caused it? (reactiveReactive arthritis depression).
Just be sure to involve your treating physician in the tapering process as you move to stop taking it. Do not stop taking it abruptly.
And, good luck to you...I hope that you are successful in your move to be paxilPaxil Paxil cr-free.
hi hun, i`ve been on paxilPaxil Paxil cr for several years now on and off. it has helped me out quite a bit but there are some downfalls. there weight gain and addiction. i don`t want to discourage you though bc they are a helpful medication. i`ve also suffered terrible panic attacks were i thought i was dying and just passing in and out. anxiety and all that weird stuff! ect, ect. but anyway, depending on how long you take paxil, then you will see results. sometimes i feel like i can`t function w/out it. it will take several weeks to fully kick in but, i promise you will feel it working and slowly you will get back to your old self. don`t worry abou the after the paxil part, just focus on feeling and getting better. friends and this forum are a great help. hang in there and feel better!
