which is stronger?
i take 1 mg of lorazepam twice a day and ran out, can i take xanax as a short term substiute? also, lorazepam is stronger correct?
It IS the doctors decision. If you find, down the road, that the Ativan is not controlling your symptoms, the choices are to increase the dose or try you on something else.

I was just wondering.Some people are put on Xanax and some Ativan.Must be the doctors decision. Thats all:)
If the Ativan is working for you, why do you want/need to know if Xanax is stronger?

is Xanax stronger than Ativan? I have a script for 0.5mg of Ativan 3 x a day.Never had to use that dose.But if I do need one,it is there.
