why the anxiety all the sudden

I am taking fluoxetine 40 mg and Bupropion 300 extended release. I started a new job about a month ago and have been going  full steam ahead. I have had 4 days off and have woke up anxious the last three of them as well as feeling a little depressed. Doc seems to think I was keeping my mind very busy and now I have time to think I am crashing.

Anyway it got me thinking about my meds. The Fluoxetine has put about 5 kilos on me.I really don't like this. The Bupropion seems to help with the appetite and I don''t even think about cigs any more but this anxiety and weight gain I really don:t need. Looking for some suggestions.

Do you get these feelings on any other set of days off? On those four days did you do anything different? Examples: caffeine, alcohol, excitement, anything at all that is different from when working.

It could be that while working your get 'keyed up' and overly stimulated in a positive way.
Being off, your body got the chance to 'wind down' and relax and your anxiety becomes more noticeable and impacts you harder.  I'm not sure this makes any sense to you but I always found 3 day weekends really tough. It was just enough for me to 'wind down' and reach a 'normal' level.  Getting back into it after that was always a LOT harder.
