Well, I am still here lol and still miserable--but whatever---I dont blame you for being nervous, but you can call them and explain you are in a panic and perhaps the person will check with the doctor and say "your are fine, just want to talk to you about getting your anxiety under control". You should get a copy of your results sent to you and then you will have a better idea if you should be nervous or not. :)
The main reason why I was worried is because I had an ecg done about a month ago when I was getting pains in my chest and there and then they told me it was fine. I then went again three weeks later with chest pains and was given another ecg which they also told me was fine. A few days later I then got a letter saying the doctor wanted to see me regarding the last ecg and he wanted to know what my symptoms are also I cant help but worry!!! Anyway how are you doing my lovely?
It wasnt that long ago that my cardiologst FREAKED me out and told me to get the ER if I have any symptoms and then moved my apt. from a month away to two days away. Went thinking I was dying---nothing. I also found out they send letters here to consult with you after your eck and other tests.
Thank you very much for your assurances. And I will try to relax and will keep you posted xxx
I agree that if it were something serious the dr would want to see you right away about your test results. As hard as it is try not to worry because you are only going to work yourself up and make yourself sick.
Try and relax because like everyone else said if it was anything that would cause your dr concern you wouldn't be waiting until Nov to go see him.
Please relax and keep us posted....Smile....
Yea if its something serious probably they would have want you to see them right away, not to make an appointment.and bad news comes very fast especially from a cardiologist because they take cardio issues very seriously as all doctors would.i think in ur case ur more likey okay :)
Thank you very much mammo Im a constant worrier hence being on the anxiety forum! Thank you for giving me the reassurance Really appreciated x
It's good news is that he feels it's not urgent or he would have you back in before Nov. A good doctor will always want to discuss test results with you face to face. If there is the tiniest "blip" on the test they will want to talk to you about other symptoms because your test result may not have been conclusive and they need to know a little more about your symptoms. Try not to worry, because early detection of anything leads to a good outcome. It sounds like you have a thorough doctor, and that's wonderful. Sometimes your symptoms can tell them how best to read your test results if there is any doubt. You'll be okay. I wish you all the best and take care.
