wrongly diagnosed??????

I WENT TO my third psychiatrist and finally have one that understood my needs. right off the bat, he told me i do not have ADD. since i was 27 i was convinced i had ADD, lack of focus, trouble retaining what i read. He said he can tell i do not have ADD, but he diagnosed me with GAD(generalized anxiety Disorder. he prescribed me lexapro and so far i feel great. i feel as if my brain is not in a cloudy state. i do feel headachy some times but it seems like i am nnot as jumpy as before and people have taken notice. i am not saying this is what it is, but it does seem to be helping dramatically. Maybe some of you should go the anxiety route to see if you have GAD.

could this be the case?, , could it have been anxiety all along?, i swore up and down i had add. lexapro seems to be working.

If it is working for you I guess it really doesn't matter what causes your lack of focus.  Strattera is for ADD and has some of the same components as SSRI's or SNRI's so Lexapro would probably help on both fronts.
