Hello everyone! I want some information….am very fond of  alcohol though I just like taking one peg a day. Am now retired and have nothing much to do as a result am undergoing depression. My doctor has given me a mild dose of xanax http://www.xanax-effects.com/xanax_and_alcohol_together.html …..however am not sure if xanax alcohol combo is a good act. Can anyone suggest alternative ways for getting out of depression?

First off, do not mix xanax with alchohol.  It is definitely not a good idea.  As far as getting out of depression, have you talked it through with a therapist?  Understanding why you are in a 'funk' can help you get out of it.  There are many underlying causes for this and understanding it is the first step to conquering it...keep us posted!
