yes it works great , but the longer you take it the more you need, after a while one pill not enought than two before you know it, you will need more and more not a great drug for long term use. klonopin is like it but last longer and your body not want more ask your dr about it .my mom did xanax she need more and more now shes on klonopin and feels much better .

I have been taking xanax for 4 years, only as needed. I average 3 a month. Not even that anymore. There are happy endings as long as the pill is not being abused. I had severe anxiety and never got addicted or have problems with the pill. It is not for long term use. Only for a as needed basis. Good luck to you.
