zanax

if im taking 0.25 grams of zanax 3 times daily for two weeks now. but am now taking1 perday untill my zoloft starts to work into my system will i have a withdrawel from zanax at this point in time if i choose to go off. how long do you have to be on zanax to have withdrawel symptoms. i could sure use your help

after only 2 weeks, I doubt it.  call your pharmacist or Dr and see what he says though. From what I've read it usually takes 2-3 months before you would get withdrawal.

I am in agreement with dmb.  I highly doubt you will have any problems.  Espeically b/c you are being tapered off of it while starting the Zoloft.  

Try not to anticipate too many problems...a lot of times we are our own worst enemy.  We CONVINCE ourselves that "A, B and C" will happen...and sure enough...they do...along with "D, E and F"!  LOL!

I think you'll be just fine.  If you start having symptoms or are concerned, please notify the prescribing doctor.
