by umadam, Mar 07, 2009 12:24AM
Hi, I am taking 25 mg of Zoloft since 13 days, my GP think that I have post partum anxiety (even I never had anxietry attck, but he thought so because my appetite is going on and off) .
well at the beginning the side effect were much worst than now but I still wake up very eatrly with the FLUTTERY feeling in the chest and hands also some nausea and loss of appetie.

Anyone can tell me when these horrible side effect will go away? I am praying that will do soon because I don't want to try other medication and go through side effect from beginning...I can't afford it :( because my appetite is killed!JUST TELL ME IF YOU DID TRIED IT.....DID U HAD THE SAME ASIDE EFFECTS? AND WHEN IT GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOES????

Zoloft does have side effects like all medications. You could look it up on "Depression Central" but if the side effects are getting better than perhaps they will go away in time. They might very well be coming from the medication but side effects generally get better over time. My suggestion is to monitor them on a daily basis (regardless of whether they are caused by the medication or anxiety) and write that down and give that information to your doctor and see what's going on then. There are also medications to help with side effects. Give it some time unless it gets worse but from what you say its getting better.
