I was on zoloft for a little while and I dont think that i gave it enough time, my sister is on it and it helps her a lot, even a tiny dosage! It didnt do anything for me, but I have a feeling that I quit before it could! stick with it!

It typically takes about 4-6 weeks for Zoloft to start really working.  The same will apply for dosage increases, you have to give that the same amount of time (4-6 weeks) before changes will be noticeable.  That's why it's important to try to be patient, as it can take a few months to be able to FAIRLY assess a medication's effectiveness.  You'll get there.

Therapy is also a good idea in addition to the medication.  I would recommend that.
