zoloft

Ok im starting zoloft tomorrow. The firs time I tried it I have 25mg pills and I took a 1/4 of it and within hour I feel asleep for two and half hours. mmm..
So anyway my cardio says I should take it so im not so worried about my heart stuff.
So is it true it gives you your life back? Cause thats what I want I want my life back.
Any one have any suggestions? I also have Klonopoin for anxeity and the second pill made me sick. But out of the two which one would help me more? Does any one know?
My regular gp doc says zoloft would help me not worry about my heart or my episodes when I have them, is this true?

While there is no 'magic pill' for anxiety and depression, I am a firm believer in them while combined with talk therapy with a mental health professional.  I actually prefer Zoloft and it has been quite effective for me.  I work out 6 times a week, running between 6-8 miles a day, and it has never posed a problem for me physically.  Remember to be patient with it and take it as prescribed.  These types of medications take about a month or so to 'kick in.'  Klonopin is a benzo that is supposed to take the 'edge' off alot more quickly.  Again, take it as prescribed and do not mix any of this with alcohol.  When starting Zoloft or adjusting the dosage quite often it can raise the anxiety a little, but the body adjusts to it with time I believe it really helps.  Continue to work with your doctor and use this forum for questions and advice going through this experience.   Keep us posted!
