I am a 25yr old female and I was recently diagnosed with what is either reactive arthritis or psoriatic arthritis.
My question is : how does one differentiate between the two diseases?
My ANA was 1:800 and 1:640 (tested by two different labs). Is this relevant to the diagnosis?
The RF and CCP were negative.
I have a bit of a more detailed question-. What if one has psoriasis and had a GI infection before the joint swelling/ diagnosis. How would one differentiate between the two diseases - clinically? Why would the ANA be raised in both cases?
