Reactive vs. Psoriatic Arthritis

I am a 25yr old female and I was recently diagnosed with what is either reactive arthritis or psoriatic arthritis.
My question is : how does one differentiate between the two diseases?
My ANA was 1:800 and 1:640 (tested by two different labs). Is this relevant to the diagnosis?
The RF and CCP were negative.

Dear Buddy,
Yes ANA can be raised in both the cases.
Clinical examination can be the only differentiating criteria in this.

Thank you very much Dr. Ghosh!

I have a bit of a more detailed question-. What if one has psoriasis and had a GI infection before the joint swelling/ diagnosis. How would one differentiate between the two diseases - clinically?  Why would the ANA be raised in both cases?

Thank you very much for your time!

Dear Friend,
Psoriatic arthritis  can have the following things -
1) Psoriasis like features affecting skin.
2) Involvement of other organs like eye,GI tract, etc.

Reactive arthritis occurs in reaction to -
1) Disease,
2) Fever,
3) Injury,
4) Climatic Changes.

Other features will be the same of both the arthritis. ANA will be raised in both the cases. RF / CCP are generally negative in these cases as the values are high in the Rheumatoid arthritis.

Feel free to post new, for further questions/discussions.
