There are several test for autoimmune diseases. There are screening as well to help determine what type of tests to run next. I just went through a series of tests since my rheumy is testing for lupus. ESR was one of them...this helps to determine the amount of inflammation in your blood. I am not sure of your symtpoms or what you and your doctor are looking for????? If you would like to share I am here.

There are a number of tests to be run depending on your symptoms and your initial lab results. Have they told you what they think you may have? Do you have your lab results?
