CCP Test for RA

I have been suspected of having RA. All tests were negative except the CCP Test.
My test result was 46. My Reumatologist is still concerned. He has ordered a
MRI of my right hand. He tells me if the test comes back negative, then he will not be able to help
me further. He also told me the test is subjective. If he chooses the wrong limb to have
tested in the MRI then he could miss a positive test for RA.
Does anyone have any experience with this situation or test. I am a bit confused. I have researched
over the internet and have not found answers.
