DENENERATIVE CHANCGES IN THE THORACIC SPINE

WHAT IS SUGGESTED TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS IN THE SPINE
AND KNOW YOU  HAVE FOUND TO HAVE A DEGENARATIVE CHANGES IN THE THORACIC SPINE

The best thing you can do for your spine is to strengthen all the muscles in your torso. That includes stomach muscles as these are the ones that support your entire torso. I don't suggest you start doing regular sit-ups though. You would need to see a physical therapist who can design a strengthening program for you based off you own personal degeneration. Take them copies of x-rays or MRI's as well as the radiologist reports. There are special stomach excersises that don't compromise the spine.
