Does RA cause anemia and bone marrow problems

Hi, Its my first time so bare with me. I finally was told by my rheumy I have fibro and alot of the signs of RA but tested negative for it. My sed rate is high. I have had anemia for sometime. I had IV treatments for 9 weeks to get rbc up to 11 was low 7's. I currently on 15mil of meloxicam,7mil prednisone,90mil cymbalta, 40mil nexum and repliva. Now hemotologist says I might need meds for bone marrow. Is this common? I'm tired most of the time and still have pain even though it is better than 2 months ago. This all began last june.I can't sit , or stand for long period of time. I haven't worked since june. Will I ever feel like I did before all this happen ? Some days it's diffcult to walk. Even reaching above my head hurts. I tried to cut a potatoe in half the other day and I thought my shoulder was going to fall off.
Thanks for listening

I don't know if its common but I myself was diagnosed with RA a year ago. I also have anemia. It comes and goes. I've changed my lifestyle quite a bit. I try to eat healthy. I've also been taking Iron. It helps but it just keeps coming back when I get my blood tested. I've read that some people with RA need to be monitored regularly as sometimes Aplastic anemia occurs (Aplastic anemia is when your bone marrow stops producing red blood cells).

I hear you ladygeegee!

As for cutting vegetables, fruits or any food for that matter....I bought myself an electric knife. It sure makes my life easier. Another tool you might consider getting is a food chopper, they are quite cheap and help on certain days.

I myself don't know a whole lot about RA, but txsilver will be back in a few days and may have some answers for you.
