Does Sacroiliitis go away w/ treatment

I was diagnosed with Sacroiliitis a couple of months ago. I took the steroids and the antinnflammatory meds. Does this ever go away. The pain go away its worse then it was before I got diagnosed!!! Its hard for me to keep up with kids and house work cause of the pain. Thanks a bunch.

I too was diagnosed with Sacroiliitis two years ago. I am 57.

I went through physical therapy to teach me some exercises to do. I do them every day. Do they help? I don't know.

What finally helped me was a combination of two presciption medications- indicin, an anti-inflammatory and pain killers- vicodin. I am able to function pretty well now.

i have been having this stabbing in the groin area, sharp racing pulsating shooting pain for the last thirteen years as of the last 4 years i have been in the worst aggravating pain in my entire life! Yesterday, my whole right leg down to my second toe was numb and it was hurting at the same time. This is very scary to me, I am afraid that I may have to use a wheelchair oneday soon. This pain is soooo bad that within 4 days I went from 1 Lidocaine patch to 3 at one time and to tell you the truth I am about to stop using them between the pain med and the patch I am always queasy in the stomach now.  But I cant really get any relief bcause it takes up to three hours before the edge is taken off of the pain- this is horrible I can't do a lot of the things that  I love the most like spending quality time with my husband and kids and lately i barely can work. I have worked since I was 12 years old (now 36) and i feel like I am an old grandma in her 70's.Lord dont let my cycle be coming because all u know what is gonna break loose pain is multiplied by at least a hundred! what is the life expectancy of a person with this disease?????? is there a time line for the degeneration of our joints???????
