Dry skin and RA

I had my RA diagnosed in Oct of 09. I am on methotrexate, prednisone, and leucovorin. I have very dry skin on my hands, knuckles mainly and my feet. Is this part of the condition of RA? thanks for all you support and advice.

it can be, yes.  or you could have another autoimmune disorder.  i also have sjogrens which causes me to have extremely dry skin!

No, it is not because of your medical condition, but rather the medication, a secondary effect. All three medications inhibit normal cellular function, including sweat & sebaceous glands.
