Enlarged thumb and finger.

My right hand thumb and left hand first finger are getting wider and tender to the touch. They are not swelling the bone is wider. I also have a similar pain in my right foot on the pad before the toes, this foot is also wider. I am 41, dont smoke and fairly active. Someone suggested some form of Arthritis. Do these symptoms sound familier to anyone.

Yes, this is typical of arthritis.  I have it in my index, middle fingers and thumb joints on both hands!  Mine didn't used to hurt, but now it's getting painful.  The index finger on the right hand is especially swollen.  I'm 52.

The toe thing might be a bunion, I have two of those also.  Don't wear tight shoes or pointed toes.  Try taking some Advil for the discomfort.
