Folic acid ran out HELP

Hi there. I use methotrexate (10mg a week) and today im supposed to inject it. Only my folic acid supplements (5mg) ran out. I can't get them tomorrow because the pharmacy is closed. Is it bad to take them 48 hours after injection instead of the normal 24h?

Thanks for the reply. I take folic acid weekly and it's on prescription (because of the high dose). I do have b vitamin supplements, only the dosage is far and far lower.

Hi there,  I take methotrexate and folic acid too.  If you have been taking it every day until today I really don't think it will make a difference.  You do know that it is a B vitamin and you could probably get it at walmart or a grocwery store?  You would have to take maybe 5 tablets if you got the 1mg folic acid, but you could use that.  At least that's what I've been told and now do.

Just my experience.
