HELP!!!

My boyfriend has really bad chronic gout colchicine and indomethacin twice daily has lots of tophi on ears hands and feet the problem now is that both hands are going numb and hurting alot it is to the point that he may sleep about 1 hour total for the night any suggestions or treatment greatly appreciated

consider asking his doc for uricosurics like allopurinol or Probenecid (brand - Benemid, Probalan), or these meds which can help chronic gout:
Corticosteroids or adrenocorticotropic hormone
ColBenemid (brand Col-Probenecid and Proben-C) = Probenecid + Colchicine
Losartan, (brand - Cozaar and Hyzaar)
Fenofibrate, (brand - Tricor),
