Hi txsilver. It's been awhile.

Just a couple days ago I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. This would be the 3rd time I have it. The second time I had IV therapy. Now I'm going to the hospital to have a pic line put in my arm into my heart. Everyday I have to go for IV therapy through my line for about 4-6 weeks.

My Rheumatoid Factor test has been positive for the last couple years of about 140. Docs thought I have RA which I might. I might have Lymes arthritis and whole body parathesia which I'm taking Gabapentin (Neurontin) for. I read that parasites can cause a positive RA Factor.

Bella- It's been a couple months since you posted. I would appreciate if you can let me know how your doing.

From the little I have read, some patients with Lyme do have elevated RF, but not all.  Do you think you have Lyme or RA?  What symptoms do you have?
