Is this possibly Arthritis or another issue?

So I just want some general information before I go visit a doctor. A few days ago I was walking and I felt kind of a "crack" around my right hip. I can't say it was a popping noise, I can't even confirm it was a noise but it did feel like something moved.

I started feeling pain there and every now and then it will strike if I walk with too long of a stride or too fast. When I apply pressure around the bone there, that's when I can feel the pain.

I thought this was a back/nerve issue as I had sciatica and disc bulge a few years back. But this feels different. I have been doing walking, stationary bike, and some back/hip exercises. I even applied heat (thinking it was a back issue) and ice. I'm thinking of sticking to ice at the area (now that I can pinpoint it) and taking some anti-inflammatory medication. Also focusing more on hip exercises, but will still do the back ones as they emphasize the hamstring/hip and other areas.

I know this is very vague information. But does this sound like arthritis?

I did more research, and I feel hip bursitis may be what it is.
