Lupus symptoms

Hi I'm a 43 year old female I'm having some medical problems.  I have two T2 hyperintensities a venous angioma, and scar tissue.
Now I've been diagnosed with complicated migraines, possible early MS , benign fasciulation syndrome, Trigeminal Neurolgia and I do have hypothyroidism, high blood pressure and GERD.   My question is this I have from time to time some joint pain.  I also have developed some weird allergies.   I've been given an ANA, and it was only slightly elevated not enough to say definitely Lupus, sed rate is high not high enough, to be concerned. I've developed allergies to shellfish, and lately I've noticed when I'm out in the sun  or if I'm in tanning booth.I develop bad acne on my jawline. Now theres' not anything on my face so I was wondering if this was a sign of Lupus instead of MS.

I agree with the ANA and ESR testing thus far.

You can consider further rheumatologic testing with a rheumatoid factor as well as a CRP (which can be more sensitive for inflammation than an ESR.

Imaging the affected joints can also be done to look for evidence of arthritis or erosion.

Lupus will be less likely given the negative ANA level.

I would discuss these symptoms and tests with your personal physician, as well as consider a rheumatological consult.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

My boyfriend has systemic lupus hes 45. He does have children from a previous relationship. We are thinking of having a child ourselves. It may be nothing but I am just a little concerned about me having a child for him when I am sickle trait. I do not have sickle cell anaemia it just means that I am a carrier and that if I had a child for another trait then their is a chance we could produce a child with full sickle cell anaemia.

So I am wondering if that fact that I am trait and he has Lupus, would have any affect on our child?

Does anyone have any answers?
