1. there is mild reversal of the normal lordosis, centered at C3 to C6. centered at C4-C5.
2. at C3-C4 the is moderate to severe right foraminal narrowing due to a right paracentral disc osteophyte complex.
3. at C4-C5 there is also a posterior disc osteophyte complex, with moderate narrowing of the left neural foramina due to spurring and disc.
4. at C5-C6 there is also loss of disc height and a posterior disc osteophte complex, with mild bilateral foraminal narrowing. no spinal canal stenosis.
5. at C6-C7 there is also diffuse posterior disc osteophyte complex with mild to moderate bilateral forminal narrowing
1.there is mild reversal of the normal lordosis, centered at C3 to C6. centered at C4-C5.
Lordosis is the natural curve most people have in their necks, some people have straighter necks than others. This is just saying that you’ve lost a little bit of the curve.
2.at C3-C4 the is moderate to severe right foraminal narrowing due to a right paracentral disc osteophyte complex.
Sometimes when a disc bulges, it will become calcified (harden) this is what is called a disc osteophtye complex. This bulge is pushing into the foramina and causing it to become narrowed. The foramina are the holes where the nerve roots come from the spinal canal, yours is narrowed at this level on the right side by the hardened disc.
3.at C4-C5 there is also a posterior disc osteophyte complex, with moderate narrowing of the left neural foramina due to spurring and disc.
This level same thing except the narrowing is moderate and on the left side. At this level the narrowing is being caused by the hardened disc and some bone spurs (arthritis)
Its pretty much the same story at the other levels however, with the exception of C3-4 all the levels or either mild or moderate, so they might not be causing you any pain.
The moderate to severe right sided foraminal stenosis at C3-4 has got to be causing you pain, do you have a lot of neck and upper back pain?
