Need Guidance

Not sure where to post this. Does Raynauds cause the following: This all happens simultaneously - pain under breastbone, nausea, constriction of blood vessels in face, arm and hands and extreme dizziness to the point where sometimes I will be on the floor and I want desperately to throw up. Some times I am sweating profusely.
Diagnosed w/Raynauds (3 episodes - none since) in January 04.

Although possible, Raynauds typically does not cause such comprehensive symptoms.

If there is concern about rheumatological disease like Lupus, an ANA level can be done.

Nausea should be evaluated more thoroughly with an upper endoscopy to rule out GI diseases like GERD, an ulcer, or inflammation of the upper digestive tract.

Dizziness should be evaluated with an MRI or CT scan to evaluate for possible masses or central neurological causes.

If the ENT referral is not helpful, you can consider a neurology referral.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

I neglected to say that all the constriction of blood vessels occurs on my left side starting in the left side of my head/face, arm and hand w/o any discoloration of hands. There is no blue, red or blanching. This is making me nuts and my cardiologist keeps blowing me off. Instead of getting better the episodes are gettng worse. Then there are days/weeks when everything is fine. The dizziness is not vertigo type. I have drop down menieres so I am fully aware of the dreaded vertigo. This is different then anything I have experienced.

I was diagnosed w/MVP w/Variant angina in 1978 and carry nitro. I rarely use it. During this last episode I was on the floor and I took a nitro, which didn't help. Then proceeded to swallow 8 baby aspirins - I sat and cried and prayed. Within a few minutes it did stop.  They have no rhyme or reason.

I need pointing in a direction - either that or a new cardiologist - I have used this DR for 22 yrs. and am rarely sick. As a matter of fact he calls me "his well patient". I take no meds. I'm 65, walk 3 miles every day, do yoga and meditation and am active both mentally and physically.

Please someone point me in a direction!
