Need help getting doctor to listen

I need help asking a doctor to really take a look at my painful bones in my lower legs.  They are very painful on light touching -- they feel as if I had banged my shin on something, although I did not and the tenderness has continued for two years.  I can barely tolerate anyone handling the tops of my feet (pedicurist, husband).  Sometimes my lower legs just ache.  My left ankle often swells to a huge size with pitting edema.  I haven't seen a specialist and other doctors I've mentioned this to do not seem interested in examining or listening.  How can I get someone to take this seriously?

Thanks, Ticked, for the support.  To answer your question, the pain is not joint or muscle pain.  It feels like I banged my shin -- the bones feel tender if pressed, as if I had bruised them.  Sometimes, they will ache.  It's only the bones below my knees and the tops of my feet.  I wonder if it's a circulatory problem (I sit at a computer all day for work).  My left ankle also swells like you wouldn't believe.  I got that checked out -- synovial cyst, drained a few times, but keeps coming back.

I just hated the looks a couple of my doctors got when I said that it hurt when I pressed "here."  They were like "oh, brother."  I discovered this when getting a pedicure -- when the pedicurist grabbed my foot (not aggressively, just normally), I winced in pain.  I knew I hadn't injured myself, but it felt like I had.  And it's stayed like that for 2 years.  On the plus side, I'm not dead, so how serious could it be?  I just want to know what is up.  No one else I've asked has any kind of tenderness like that.

I would get a second, third, forth opinion if need be.

I have had medical problems since i was 16 (33yrs now) and I have seen more doctors then 50 ppl see in a lifetime.

i wanted answers as I know my own body and something wasnt right.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome, hypoglycemia, Endometriosis (surgically confirmed) estrogen dominance, etc.

I still feel tired all the time, achy and I dont feel right.

Please dont stand there and let your doctor just sit there and do nothing.

Now is it bone pain or is it joint or muscle pain?
