Only in mornings and after rest

Hi can somebody help me with this? I have been suffering from this for around two months now. I feel pain in and around my knees in the mornings mostly the pain is around most of the time but it's really hurts in the morning or after sitting for a long while in the office. Its also hurts a lot when I sit for a long while in an air-conditioned place that’s why at office I take a walk every half hour out side in the sun.

Does having the air conditioner on for a long period of time especially at night make things worse my wife decreased the temp last night and in the morning I woke up 2 hours before the alarm was on due to the pain in and around my knee.

Thank you for your response. Last year I sustained a knee injury while playing soccer. I went home put some ice on it and in the morning it was very swollen. The next day I went to hospital and after the x rays the doctor told me that I don’t have strong muscles around my knee and that there was nothing wrong with knee itself but it’s the muscles around the knees that are the problem. I am over weight but I have recently lost 5 – 6 kg form and h pylori infection. I have also noticed that the pain comes only from sitting on certain types of chairs only.

Thank you again for your response.

Are your knees swollen?  Do they feel like they are grinding when you are walking?  Do you have a hard time with stairs?

I would see your Dr and see what they think.  There is a certain condition called Patella Femoral Syndrome.  Its where the patella and femoral have no cartilage and they are grinding against each other.
