Osteoarthritis - TENS

knee osteoarthritis . Is electrical nerve stimulation(tens) an effective therapy for providing pain relief?

While I have not used one myself, I can tell you that I have talked to many for whom the tens unit drastically improved their ability to function.  Is your doctor recommending one for you?
