Pain and little lumps under skin in upper arms

by msfergy, Apr 09, 2009 09:44AM
Hi, I had went through some very painful back problems and ended up getting a lumbar fusion. It took docs 2 yrs to figure out where my problem was coming from, it was a fracture in L5 and S1 are that healed back wrong. I am doing way better however I have little lumps under my skin all over my upper arms and my arms hurt frequent, would this be ARTHRITIS related? I have heard you can end up with arthritis after injury and especially since they made me wait so long. CAN ANYONE PLEASE RELATE TO THIS? Also before surgery and still some I have like little lumps or knots u could say down the back of my thighs to. Thank You

Are the lumps near joints?  Have you seen a doctor about them?  If not, I think you should.

No not just near joints, all over under skin from shoulder to elbo and some on back of legs. I forgot to mention it last time. I am thinking Arthritis nodules I was researching that. My arms seem to hurt more than usual lately to.

While what you describe does sort of sound like arthritis nodules, I usually read about them being located closer to joint and pressure points.  I am glad you are going to the doctor as this warrants further investigation.  Please let us know what you find out.
