Pain to my finger radiating from my distal radius

I have sharp pain to my right middle finger. Prior to this pain, I had sharp pain radiating from my arm down to my distal radius. What could it possibly be?

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to tell. Possibilities that may need to be considered include infections/ inflammations, fractures, injuries to tendons/ ligaments, nerve impingement etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Meanwhile you could try some tylenol or OTC NSAIDS for pain relief.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
