RA "numbers"

I am a 43yr. old, female, 6-7 years ago I stepped on a pile of "junk" in my garage, my knee made a loud POP sound and I waited for the pain to kick in.  It never did, it was a little sore... but ok.  5years ago, I was having problems with the same knee,  had x-rays and MRI done.  Everything was ok,  Dr. sent me to a PT  he said some muscles that hold my knee cap in place never developed.  Did some exercises and everything was ok.  3 years ago I dropped a large glass bottle on my foot. (on the other side) Hurt for a long time, figured I broke it.  I waited a  while it came and went, but never got better.  So I go to the Dr. he x ray ed it,  told me it was NOT broken, I had arthritis in the big toe joint.  During this winter we have had a lot of snow, so when I felt tired and sore all over I thought it was from the shoveling or the flu.  When the snow finally stopped and I was still sore and my knee was hurting going up the stairs, I knew it was time to see the Dr. again.  He x ray ed it and said it showed some signs of change of the arthritis.  I was never told I had it in my knee, only my toe.  He did a blood test and I called to get the results.  She told me it was 1 over 40.  Now all the stuff I have seen on line give 1 number not 2.  I need a new dr.  I am very unhappy with this one.  Any thoughts?  Help!

First of all,the first trauma you had in your knee could make some wear and tear process in your knee leading to Osteoarthritis which is something not to worry about...but looking at your skin allergy and feeling hurt all over your joints it may give a clue that there's something else which could be a condition called "Psortiatic arthritis"..Tophi are somethings like stones in the back of your ear "not inside your ear" maybe you didn't notice before check 'em out again...and bythe way:try to get your exact results numbers,I hope you get etter soon

She ran a fasting blood test that included thyrod, cholestol (high & low), diabetic, and a test for RA.  When I called to see if the test was in the nurse told me that my test for the RA came back as 1 over 40.  She said that that is where hers is, and that she was ok.  I don't know if she has RA and is ok with it, or if she doesn't and is ok with it. (And I don;t care)  Skin Allergy:  I am allergic to a preservitive anything starting with BENZO... makes me itichy, little pin point hives, and when I ingest it I end up with a migrain.  Urinary:  When she did a pelvic on me she found a yeast infection and gave me some meds for it. ( I never noticed anything)  Red Eyes:  Nothing out of the ordenary.  I work in floresent lighting and some what dry.  Ears: sorry you have me stumped there.  I am not sure what tophi means.  But I have no problems with them.
